Watch the Movie Life in a Day Free
July 24th, 2010 was just an ordinary day like every other, so Director Kevin MacDonald and executive producer Ridley Scott made a movie about it with the help of the internet. To film the movie they asked the internet to submit their home made videos to YouTube which they would then use in their movie and the world responded by sending in over 80,000 videos containing over 4,500 hours of footage. Every single video that was submitted was watched by the director and his crew and considered for inclusion in the movie and after 7 months a 90 minute long feature movie was produced. You can see the entire movie here posted above. The result is a fantastic movie that will touch you and change your view of the world forever. It is a must see and I don't say that lightly.
Ridley Scott is currently working on a sequel to Life in a Day called Britian in a Day, which will be about Saturday 12th, November 2011. To learn more about the project and to submit your video for consideration in the movie follow this link. http://www.youtube.com/britaininaday
Don't wander off just yet though, watch this extrordinary film first before you forget. The film is free courtesy of YouTube so no worries about piracy and such.
