^ I did like her role in the beach, I've seen more or less everything she has been in that is avaliable on dvd. I prefer the book to the film overall though.

I would pick Persona, Wild Strawberries, Cries And Whispers and Winter Light as his greatest films, Persona being his greatest.

Winter Light is a great one also, just doesn't make it up there for me with the others I mentioned, still not far behind though.

Smaller film with less action, very little, but good reflection and narration IMO. Also thought the characters interaction and relationships were really good. Check it out.
