he didn't die in the show, but in the finale roseanne reveals that everything that happened in the show was her writing a book about her life, dan did die when he had the heart attack but she wrote it in that he survived and later cheated on her because she felt betrayed when he died. jackie was the gay one not the mother, mark was actually with darlene and david was with becky, and they never won the lottery. it was all just her writing a book and she made changes to her life in the book.

I never saw most of the later episodes or the finale, but from the few episodes I did see later on (including when they won the lottery?), they absolutely and completely SUCKED.

The early seaons of Roseanne were actually very good. It just depicted an extremely realistic family scenario, and was funny at the same time. It also had great dramatic moments though. I'll always remember one scene in particular... I forget why Dan was mad but he was absolutely pissed and punched the wall and you could hear the entire set shake. I'm pretty sure that was a real punch and all the shaking and sound was legit. Man, it was intense.. because he's just so big... and the show was so realistic in it's depiction of a poorer family that I was scared because I felt Dan might do something bad.

Sorry to dig up that old post... I just REALLY REALLY REALLY want to say..

HE DID!

YES HE DID!

You're not the only one remembering him dieing of an heart attack... not long after his Flintstones movie.

To find out a few minutes ago that he was alive was a shock.

This isn't an intent to spam or whatever, I was reading this thread on that forum : http://www.godlikeproductions.com/fo...sage831747/pg1
Titled "The Dead Celebrities Who Are Now Alive Thread..."

A LOT of people remember clearly the death of some celebrities... people talking about it, news, funerals.

When I saw that John Goodman was still alive I was really WTF!? And I googled to see if anyone else outside GLP remembered him being dead... it seems that you do too.

Things are getting SO WEIRD!

That show seriously jumped the shark towards the end. Just couldn't watch it anymore.

Seriously, celebrities dieing and mysteriously being back to life is becoming more and more common place.

Things are getting weird.

If it happens with any other celebrity, don't just dismiss it right away as you just being wrong and try to remember where and how you learnt of the death of that celebrity.
You might start noticing that things just don't stick together... as if we were shifting through realities.

The best 'dream' ending for a show has to be the finale for Newhart, when Bob wakes up next to Suzanne on the set of his previous series, The Bob Newhart Show. She tells him to go back to sleep, and they run credits from the old show. Now that's classy!

Bobby Ewing? fuggedaboutit.

But John is alive and kicking.
