I never had any interest in the reunion shows. The last one had them rescued for the second time (I think), and Mr. Howell put the island on the map, turning it into a resort.

Heard about the Seven Deadly Sins as it applies to Giligan's Island? You can apply each sin to a castaway:

Ginger -- Lust -- always pushing it into your face

Mary Ann -- Envy -- wanted to be like Ginger

Professor -- Pride -- a bit of a stretch, but you'd need a lot of confidence to build a radio from a coconut

Mr Howell -- Greed -- always had money on the brain

Mrs Howell -- Sloth -- she didn't do jack

Skipper -- Gluttony and Anger -- the big man is double-billed in this department

So who is their tormenter?

Who keeps them captive week after week?

Gilligan.

Gilligan is Satan.
