Having trouble with account

I'm the member Hart, and when I go on the forums it doesn't give me an option to log in. It only asks me to register, even when I sign in at the "Home" section it says my account/password is invalid.

Any help mods/admins?

Yeah I'm having the same problem. I got around it by clicking on "register" and on the top left hand side there is a place to log in. But everytime I navigate away from the site and come back I have to go through the same process, even though I clicked "keep me signed in".

Yeah that's the place I meant when I said the Home section because it's also there too. Doesn't work me for me, says my password/username is invalid.

Also, can't find a way to log out of this account now unless I switch browser.

I don't know what's going on. I wasn't automatically logged in as usual. I tried to log in with my username and password. That didn't work. Finally, I had to re-register.

This issue is due to the system using a new single unified account for the entire site. If you already had a forum account before the merge, follow these steps to sync your accounts:

(Note: If you already had a "main" account before November 2nd that was the same username as your forum username, your accounts should already be linked, and you should not follow the procedure below.)

1. Create a new "main" account by going to Movie-Vault.com and clicking on the "New user? Signup here!" link in the Control Panel section at the top left of the site.

If you already had a "main" account before November 2nd, simply log in.

2. In the Control Panel section located at the top left, click on the My Profile link.

3. Fill out the form in the "Already have a forum account" section at the top of the page. Be sure to enter your forum username and password.

This will change your forum account username to your "main" account username, and should import all of your posts, signature, avatar, etc. The only thing that should change is your username.

Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you, and if not, please try to reply as detailed as you possibly can so we can help debug this for you.

I can't make a "main" account because it says my email is already in use (from my Hart account), therefore disallowing the merge. I if I change the email to another won't it make another account separate from Hart?

edit: Tried new email, said Hart is already in use - I'm gonna try something else hold on.

Right I filed for a password change and it seemed to work. Now to try and do the "main" account thing.

Right ffs it logged me out of Hart, kept me logged in as this account - and the "main" account thing does not work at all. Keeps complaining about how that email + username is already in use..

edit: btw I'm sorry about all the hassle.

edit2: OK it didn't log me out as Hart as it's still viewing the forum - but there's no logout link so I can't logout of hart duplicate! Where did the link go?
