Yeah I don't trust that site anymore. Heard anyone can pretty much go in and edit the info.

You guys are crazy, this movie scared the mess out of me. I was afraid to go to bed that night.

I think there's too much emphasis put on this movie without it being in context.
You have a better chance of having it affecting you:
A) If you actually believe in evil spirits out there or the possibility of them.
B) Not going into it for the wrong reasons (eg. gore, alot of creepy scenes since there were really not that many if you count them.)
C) Watching it alone, in the dark.
D) Can handle the shaky cam for reasonable durations of the movie
Personally, I'm hesitant recommending this film to just anyone but to those I know it would effect.

And Jonny, I have my doubts this film would effect you. I said that before though I think.

Blair Witch Project didn't affect me. It barely had any freaky scenes in it. Plus it sounded a lot more scary than it actually was. You mentioned something that these two movies use different methods for scares(i think it was you) And yes you are probably right, i've seen that many horror's now it is unlikely it will freak me out. And yeah you did say that before. Sorry bout that spoiler lol.

I'm not sure I did lol. They're both psychological horrors.

I don't think it's the amount of gore you watch since horror isn't always about gore. The good ones have less in it in my opinion. But that generally seems to be your kind of thing so is why I doubt this is anything that you'd like.

^ yeah, that's why I brought up BWP. Jonny wasn't impressed by that one either, so doubt it if he would like this one...BWP scared the hell out of me though, but that was almost 10 years ago, I carry a weapon ever since

It didn't scare me. I didn't say i wasn't impressed. In fact i enjoyed it. I was a bit surprised it was quite good on such a low budget, colour changes, shot in a week, by unknown actors and directors and not even a full script, so when you consider all that it's actually a pretty good achievement. The reactions are natural as well i believe. The actors really would have been frustrated if there was food rations. Escape, i'm certain you said something about the scare methods being different between thw two movies and that it was something you could tell me only after i have seen both of them. Gore in horror isn't a nessicity to me. Although i'm not really a fan of psychological horror's. Things like Drag Me To Hell which was neither gory nor psychological and achieved things by making you jump i appreciate more. Although i may be prone to slashers i'm a massive fan of horror in general. Certain comedies and action movies i watch are right up there with being as great as some of the horror's i watch.

The only weapon that would work, would be to stay away from those frackin' woods.

But with you, it didn't accomplish what it set out to achieve and that's to scare the viewer.

Psychological horror is the best kind dude. Gore as it is happening is never scary.

Yeah that's a different type of scare as well I would say. That's not bad so long as you can't read it coming which so many times nowadays you can.

With Drag Me To Hell you don't see the scares coming which makes it all the more intrigueing. It still gives me the creeps if i watch it with some friends, but on my own watching it i'm fine. Last House On The Left i lent to two friends who thought it was ok, i was surprised. I loved it, obviously not some scenes. Some of those scenes freaked me out, including
