Let Me In

I'd first like to say, that I'm SO against this film even existing. What a truly useless remake to what I'd consider to be a classic. And based on the trailer, they appear to put alot more focus on the horror and gore, rather than the relationship of the two characters. Baw, I say!

Hmm, I don't like it.. Why? Hmm.. I'm probably going to stay far away from it, cos, I really enjoyed the original.. Yep.

I don't think a trailer ever tells you how good the finished film will be. I'm keeping an open mind, but I can understand why some folks might be put out by a remake. The sad fact is that there are so many people out there who refuse to watch films with subtitles, so this is the end result.

They're just dumb-- seriously-- such a lame argument to not watch a film, IMO.. And yea-- it's just sad, cos they miss out on so much great film making, yep.

The irony about Let the Right One In is that it's such a visual film to begin with. Even if people struggle with subtitles, it's one of those films that doesn't need the viewer to be constantly reading to keep up with the film.

I've been upset about the remake of this movie since I first heard about it. Swedish film isn't all that bad, and remaking this new movie, which is one of the best ones in a long time, is outrageous. The trailer looks really bad, and the only thing I like about it is the boy's "Empire strikes back" t-shirt. Another thing, the girl looks too girly. What's up with that?

In my opinion, the original version of this film is one of the best films in 2009.
I don't think this remake will be better, it's useless, but...here it is.

I found that was the case with Apocalypto. It was stunning cinematography and just a great film. Being that it was in a different language did not detract from the film at all. in fact if those Mayans had have been talking in english it would not have been as good. Btw i haven't even seen this yet, so it seems way too quick for a remake.

Spoiler
They've taken out the bit with Eli actually being a boy. Too appeal to American audiences...
