Looks-wise, I like Mia Kirshner for Catwoman. Who will play the role best (if, by chance, Nolan does Catwoman at all) depends on what exactly the role is going to be.

errm i think the chances are its probably going to be catwomen :S but i was 100% sure it would be riddler and that didnt work out as i'd hoped

Humm, I'm not too keen on her, but that's just because everytime I see her now I see that awful character Jenny from The L-Word... so she would have to be fantastic at the role to make me forget. A bit young looking maybe? I don't know what age range Catwoman was originally?

It appears that you don't know what you're talking about, so I won't even rip you, but please, don't call yourself a hardcore Batman fan.

Real hardcores don't refer to Joel Schumacher's Batman for anything really, like the 60's show and movie, they are merely just pieces of dust to the Batman legacy.

Mia's about 35, which would make her slightly older than Michelle Pfeiffer was when she took on the role.

I'm not concerned about her comic origins (which haven't remained the same since she was introduced in the 1940's, anyway), so much as what Nolan intends to do with her.

Eh, they haven't changed that much, just expanded. She started out as a thief that entices bruce and gone has stopped being a thief going into anti-herione with an actaul romance with him

For a while she was a former prostitute, and then they changed that. My point is that I don't care if Nolan adheres to any comic book versions of Catwoman: current, retconned, parallel universe, or otherwise. I just want a good version.

But what about the fact that one of the only non-major characters of The Dark Knight who knows Bruce's identity was named "Mr. Reese" which can easily pronounce itself "Mysteries". Essentially a lot of people thought he'd turn into the Riddle. My point is that I think you're reading too much into something that may have just been a clever reference. And now that Nolan has dismissed the Riddler rumours I'm really not sure what route he'll take.
