Yeah, I have four of his DVDs; Stalker
and Andrei Rublev
. All bought from amazon.co.uk for around the same price as I bought The Sacrifice
. Although I think Mirror
was about £12 at the time. It may have come down since then. I don't think I could ever buy a DVD that's just a single film for over £15 let alone £20+. So I can understand why you would want to wait.
It's strange that they're so expensive over there. I always had this idea in my head that the Netherlands was the place to go if you wanted cheaper region 2 and to a lesser extent region 1 DVDs. Although thinking back this was during that period when the Pound was doing well against the Euro so I guess that's the reason.
