Ignorant. Definitely explains why my 56 year old parents listen to house and electro music. I'm sure there was a plethora of those artists 40-50 years ago as they were growing up

I don't remember growing up during the 60s and 70s... yet adore bands like The Doors.

Same here, I have a Jim Morrison poster in my room . Technically if your parents listened to that while you grew up though it could influence you to listen to them as well. I grew up listening to dance music on the radio (back when dance music was good) and alternative rock so my love of classic rock must be from a past life if you only like a style of music you grew up with

My eldest is into classic rock, and I know it's because I've kept it continuously running in my car since he was born.
