Never heard of Joy Division, so goggled them and they did not do much. Only one of their songs made it to the Us and it was number 42 on the charts, and not much on the british charts, so I do not see where they would be classified as one of the great rock and roll bands. Sorry but that's how I feel.

Just because a band doesn't make it in the mainstream charts doesn't make them rubbish or not worthy of certain praises... also, I've never heard them described as a great 'rock n roll' band...
