Watching Jeepers Creepers creeped me out as a kid but that's it really. I don't think the typical horror film is scary at all. I like the more realistic approach of Paranormal Activity as it places you close to the action, I also found Insidious to be a little creepy in the jump scares factor but also a good laugh.

It aint the movie itself, but i recall hearing a couple making love (not what you think, but they were kissing and touching each other) behind me during the screening of some art-house movie. The theatre was less than half-filled. Now that was a scary movie experience for me.

The ring and The grudge really scared me. Sometimes when I'm home alone the ring still does, especially when I'm in the room with the TV off and I think it's going to magically turn on.
I saw The Poughkeepsie Tapes a few months back, at first I thought it was a real documentary and couldn't get proper sleep in days. It had a really big effect on me untill I watched it with my sister and she thought it was a huge joke and loved it. |
