That will not work at all, i like to see Jason Kill in movies, i can see person recording while his friend is being killed it won't work. I'm assuming you're refering to the August Underground movies, if so the reason for the look is because it's supposed to have a look and feel of a "for-real" lost footage snuff film. I've never actually found a real lost footage tape so this is all speculation, but I'm guessing there wouldn't be a lot of editing and studio quality shots on it... The August Underground series, especially the first one, looks absolutely real and I actually had a hard time making it all the way through it because of the realism.
