I enjoyed it, one of the better remakes to come out. Got a very nice music score too, goes very well with the film. Plus two fab leads.

I think you'll like it. Maybe not love it but it is quite good considering it's a remake. As said before solid music and the performances (considering it's a horror flick) were pretty decent.

The scene with the pitchfork is one of my favourites from the movie and is eternally creepy. Love it.

I mean the nuke the town to stop them, and the goverment blames it on an exploded gas main? Seriously? No one noticed the giant mushroom coud? What about the massive radiation that will be there for 880 to 100 years? Also that satelitte that was tracking them for the movie when the got to the city and how it was going to "contain" them. How? Is the goverment going to nuke the city as well? How are they going to cover that shit up exactly?

But she was pregnant, so therefore there is hope for a new generation to start, should the rest of the world have been destroyed. I can understand if it is far fetched, but i didn't let that put me off, considering i really enjoyed the rest of the film.
