Just saw this re-make and I think its one of the best re-makes in the horror/distaster genre that I have ever seen. The film has great rythm and timing and even some new creepy and instantly classic scenes.

Does anyone else agree or disagree? Re-makes are usually horrible but this one is excellent. Very disturbing and dark, if not all that deep.

When i saw it i didn't like it. I liked the beginning and it started to set itself up nicely but to me it never really led anywhere it should and the film became a little annoying. The end was quite good but by then i wasn't really interested as much as i should have been.

I loved this movie, at least the first halt. After that it went down hill fast. The ending was just that, an ending. It didn't take me to that place that it should have.

Fantastic movie. One of the few horror flicks that I've enjoyed in the last 2 years or so. Acting was spot on, script wasn't overdone, very creepy at times and in general it just worked. It didn't get carried away with itself and lose focus and while the premise wasn't anything groundbreaking it suited the movie well enough.

I know I like a horror movie when a handful of scenes stick out in my mind and I want to watch them over and over again and this was definitely one of those movies.

I thought it was good, but the last second saves annoyed the hell outta me. Still an improvement over the original.
