DC vs Marvel?

When looking at the two major comic book authorities in film who do you feel has produced the better films and who do you feel has a better chance of lasting further into the years?

I feel that DC has allowed for directors to work with better storylines and character development to create film while i feel marvel has a wider variety of characters to create movies for they will outlast DC in the movie race.

I share this sentiment. I think Batman is the only gold DC will have, and perhaps Superman. Green Lantern looks so-so, a bit cheesey if you ask me, and it should be no time until Wonder Woman and the Flash appear on screen.

I'd say with Marvel's better collection of characters, they'll have the upper-hand in terms of films, although after Nolan's done, everyone's going to want to make their own Batman.

Really i think i just got a little pumped up. On a side note a lot of people hated Daredevil that was portrayed by Ben Afflek but i totally loved it. Is there any comic movies made that had horrible reviews that you enjoyed. I.E. Catwomen, Punisher, Elektra

Yes, I love Daredevil and The Punisher. I've yet to see Elektra or Catwoman and I really don't plan to.

So far, I'm not sure there's been a clear winner. Both have had their ups and downs. Where it goes from here will depend a lot on how The Avengers sells and who replaces Nolan.

I don't know about horrible reviews, but I like X-men III and Batman Forever, and those aren't the most popular.

Elektra was alright Catwomen (HA waste of time) except Halle Barry is smoking in some spandex but other then that *puke*. Elektra had some fun scenes but had a poor script. Jennifer Gardner is smoking in the film too.

Avengers just depends on how well Captain America and Thor does which i think they will be great successes within the box offices and for who takes over Batman after Nolan, they will have to definitely bring in some new villans.

At this point, I'd say Aronofsky takes over Batman.
