Types of films you wouldn't usually like

I'd immediately say Mean Girls, Black Swan, The Town, The Lookout, 500 Days Of Summer, The Last Kiss, 127 Hours. Probably a lot more floating about in my head.

When this first came out, I left seeing it at the cinema because I thought I'd find it absolutely awful. But a friend let me borrow his dvd and I absolutely enjoyed it, it's terribly cheesy but I had a smile on my face the whole way through it, there are some nicely performed songs during the film but most are exceptionally cheesy.

Twilight works because Kristen Stewart despite what her acting critics say is very Likable. I think so atleast. The last one was just horrible though.

My problem with Kristen Stewart is that I think she is too normal to be an actress. She has the same expressionless face for every film and always seems to play the same character no matter what genre the film.

I do agree to a degree. But she is still capable of making you care IMO. Just needs to build her confidence. I think she has the emotional intelligence to start varying her roles.

I thought she showed that in Welcome to the Riley's. The potential is there. until then, I'm not "bothered" by her acting.

She needs a good director to push her IMO.

Yes I agree with that 100% and i have that movie waiting to rent. Some actors or actresses seem to be good when given the right material to work with. I'd say Mark Waelberg is a prime example.

It's decent a film. Also would you say that decent material could also imply more independent projects? I would say this is something that creates a better atmosphere for younger actors learning the craft.
