What did you think of The Pursuit of Happiness?

I thought it was a sweet movie. I would give it a 7.5-8/10.

The movie looks really slow to me. WHat makes it stand out from the other feel good underdog movies?

Sweet movie, very perditactable and yes very very slow... I think they drew out some parts of it ... However ... Will Smith was quite brilliant in it ... and his son was a cutie and was also very good.

i still haven't seen it. do you think it's worth a rental? everything i'm reading says that it's slow paced and predictable. but i love will smith, even if he has to have a porn 'stache. the review on spill.com made me think that i could get away with bringing my boyfriend. but i'm still on the fence.

It's extremely slow, I got bored sitting in the movie theater watching it.. it was good though .. you should rent it so you can fast forward the boring parts lol.

for me, it's an inspiring movie. the story is nice as well as Will's acting.

I thought it was a good movie. I'm glad I waited to rent it on DVD instead of going to the movies to see it.
