Cloverfield
Okay, I'm a big fan of giant things attacking towns and tonight I watched Cloverfield. I just read the MoVa review and uhm.. well, Cloverfield made me queasy too but I didn't barf. Lol.
The problem with Cloverfield is not that the characters are yuppies or the Blair Witch approach, the problem is the camera work. No one on Earth is that sucky with a camcorder. No one. Is there anyone on this planet that doesn't try to keep the camera still when they record something? Okay, I get it, it's shaky because it's homemade, but come on, no one sucks that much. Sheese. Before you go in the movie the ticket girl shows you a disclaimer saying the movie might make you sick. Lol. And it does. Lol. The camerawork mades you want to heave. A guy in the row behind us closed his eyes because he couldn't take it anymore and a girl in the row in front of us got up and left, probably to barf. Lol. The movie itself is pretty funny and scary. It's a fun roller coaster of a movie, complete with barfing at the end. Hahaha! You laugh and then you scream, and then you laugh and then you scream, and then you laugh and then you scream, and by the end you feel like barfing. Hahaha! I'm serious! This movie made me want to barf. Hahaha!

You mean the camera work made you want to barf or the hideous sea serpent? Ughhhhhhh. Yeth, everyone knows its a sea serpent becuz Ive read 6 reviews already that mention its a sea serpent! Bleechhhh! Gosh, I just hate camcorder or cell phone movies! Youre right about camerawork in movies like this, the *cameraman* always seems inebriated. At least in BLAIR WITCH, even while they were finding somebodys bloody molars in the creek, they still had the presence of mind to keep the camera focused. And then theres that famous view up that girls nosey, hahaha!

PS. I just read the MV review. Yorgo should never haf posted it becuz he never finished the movie. This is unfair to the movie. So he got queasy, a lot more people didnt -- I say this movie deserves another more thorough AIRING! And 1/10 is a Widiculous Rating!

I saw the movie Tuesday and thought it was ok. The crowd left the theater in silence because of the way it ended. I even yelled "that's it?" and people started laughing. I did notice a couple of people leave the theater and never returned. Either becuase they got sick or just thought the movie sucked.

Lol, that's what happened at the theatre I went to too. I think I heard you say "That's it!?" Someone in our theatre said it too.
