Parnormal Activity 2

Eh. =)

Had it's moments. The subtle ghostly object movements caught on the security cam were great, I thought, but the the real acting scenes were good (very well-written, very well-acted very believable) but very boring and montonous at times. The story itself wasn't really that exciting and the whole "true events" motif that worked so well in the first movie certainly wore off which took away most of the fright factor, but all in all it was decent.

^ Arse.

Another film, for those who liked The Killer, worth checking out that is influenced by The Killer/La Samourai is a film called: Ghost Dog - The Way of the Samurai. It's more mellow compared to The Killer, but worth seeing.

I watched Jonah Hex last night, Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Nothing special and what a waste of the cast, at least three brilliant actors in this.

1½ out of 5.

I like to make my own mind up. I was warned not to see Doomsday by a lot of people, and ended up really liking it.

Well you'd probably like 28 Weeks Later then cos the plot sounds the same.

I didn't like 28 Weeks much so I'll know to avoid Doomsday too now.

Question: Why is it whenever a deadly virus escapes in Movie World, it always creates Zombies?

Isn't the Resident Evil series the same too.

Maybe someone could make a film about a Virus escaping which, I dunno, evaporated the oceans and made the fish sprout legs (or something ORIGINAL!)

Seen it, was not too keen on it like 28 Days Later. Doomsday concentrates more on the 'cannibals'/Mad Max types than actual zombies(these mostly at the start from what I can remember).

Doomsday is just a silly movie that I enjoyed a lot.

Doomsday was fucking awesome, yes obviously it's silly, but like Piranha 3D and Machete they are very enjoyable films.
