where we first see that face in the window. That was always a huge fear for me as a kid and brought those thoughts back surging through my brain immediately lol. There was also a part where she was walking into the house and you see that weird little giggly kid standing up by the coats and shoes in the porch area. A wtf did I just see moment that is revealed very shortly after of course.

.
Yep same. I also liked the slow glides down corridors, which scared you into thinking something was about to happen!

I loved Insidious, probably my favourite horror film, if i don't include the Scream and Jeepers Creepers films. I admire it so much because it is the first film to properly scare me.

Hanna (2011)

Excellent film.

Priest (2011)

Nauseating. Although that might have just been the 3D, the film itself is entirely unremarkable.

But I can understand that fans of the comic might not.
I've never read a comic book in my life so I never have any idea what all the fuss is about. I know a lot of people were upset about the casting of Seth Rogen though.

Watched Hard Candy - Quite cool, bit too slow for me though.

Me neither, but I can understand that the action + comedy might have destroyed the image that the comic has created.
Unless the comic is the same, but I don't expect it to be.

Paul Bettany says its the last time he'll do a religious themed movie. Someone should write a movie called POPE.

For people talking about The Green Hornet: It was originally conceived as a radio program in the 1930s. Comics of The Green Hornet didn't come around until the next decade, and regardless, the interpretation with which the Seth Rogen film has the most connection is the '60s TV series with Van Williams and Bruce Lee.

And as the biggest fan of the show currently living on this planet, I loved the movie, so anyone pretending to be a hardcore fan by hating on the film is just that: A pretend fan.

Saw THOR again. I still loved it, but I thought Id add some more comments & ask a few thingies of people here.

1. Wuz anyone bothered by Branagh's somewhut excessive use of certain camera angles? I even got nauseous at one point. I dunno, maybe it wuz becuz I forgot to take my medication that day.
2. Some comic fan reviews keep mentioning a feller named Hawkeye. Is this the guy wid the bow & arrow? He doesnt look like much of a superhero to me.
3. Anthony Hopkins is seriously exceptional in this film, particularly when he confronts Thor in a towering rage. I can imagine no other Odin.

4. Fandral (Josh Dallas?) reminds me of Errol Flynn! And Helmdall was Fantastic!
5. I didnt stay through the credits after either movie (I was in a hurry, much to do) but can anyone tell me whut happened?
