I recently saw Transamerica, and while i don't get why anyone would want to change their gender, it was a great journey towards self discovery for the main character and was inspiring in a way and with great acting from Felicity Huffman and Kevin Zegers, another film were it's quite unique as well.

I liked True Grit at first when it seemed like a successfully funny comedy, but then it kept switching gears in ways that didn't work. The characters weren't exactly endearing, and it tried (and failed) to pass as a touching movie by playing sentimental music where it didn't fit. Here's how I always sum up the entire movie except for the end.

Kristen hears a noise, she walks slowly to it, walks some more, walks some more.......it's nothing. This happens like 4 times in the movie and it drove me fucking bonkers. The ending sucked fish lips as well.

That ending was kind of a let down but I never thought of it as nonsense either. I mean it was ok but it's something that I whine about often when it comes to endings.

I actually always watch 'The Devil's Advocate' everytime I see it on the TV. I despised the stupid ending though and is because of that, I have never bought it.

My first movie of 2011. I saw this because of an appealing premise, and I was disappointed. There were some good suspense moments, but ultimately, a slow buildup,
