YellowBrickRoad sounds like a very interesting concept indeed, i was a bit worried like you said about it not wrapping things up, but is it even out yet? I haven't seen even one release date for it, even worldwide.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but you seem to be having an attitude recently of seeing films, thinking they are crap and then commenting as if you knew they were going to be crap...??

Had a rewatch of Drive Angry and it was just as fab, entertaining, exciting, exhilariting, enjoyable, funny, crazy, fun, excessive and rigtly advertised as one hell of a ride. The directors, writors and stars make it clear that fun is at the top of their agenda and fun they certainly make it. In a couple of the special features it makes it certain that everyone involved is proud of making the film and so they should be. It is a brilliant action film laced with humourous black comedy moments and very possibly two of the funniest sex scenes i have ever seen! Especially the aftermath of the second one. Nicholas Cage is back on form and to the crazy funny role we all know and love him for and Amber Heard is the feisty sidekick who is no sidekik! William Fitchner is also their to provide his effortless portrayal of The Accountant who almost steals the show. Their is a great small role for David Morse as an alley of Nic Cage's character. And Billy Burke is also very good as the baddie. However, Amber Heard from the beginning she appears on screen, is the main attraction here folks. There is just something about her that i find so sexy, her looks, her personality and her seemingly fun and appreciative oulook on things. So great entertainment, great film which did not at all go down in my estimations by a second viewing. The 3-D was great whenit was at cinemas. It only added to the film, which was refreshing.

I knew they were going to be crap because I have experience. When you learn to appreciate movies from em' olden days, than you'll have a pretty good idea of what's crap or not. I mean, if you didn't know that Transformers 3 or The Green Lantern was going to be crap, then I suggest that you take a more broader look on film predictions. We might be the same 17 year old movie geeks, but what separates us - Is that I watch a whole variety of movies from all movie time periods. I have gained a lot of experience from it. I use that learned experience to predict what and what not to watch. The movies I have predicted this year, that were bad - I almost always get it right. I would have been saved from the devastating movies of 2011, if my family had a broader taste of films. I'm the only true movie buff in the family, and it sucks that I have to waste my time on horrible movies.

I'm sorry if I sound too serious, or just a showoff, but what I'm saying to you is true. That's just how I grade films. It doesn't mean I can't have fun. I can have fun while watching a movie seriously. You're saying I can't do both? Of course I can.

Sucker Punch

I was really excited to see this movie because all the previews made it seem so epic. But then I saw it and thought it was crap.

Peter Pan

I liked this, but because of Tinkerbell, the London characters, and the mermaids rather than Peter Pan or Hook. The depiction of the Indians is too racist for modern standards. It was an entertaining fantasy flick with nice visuals, but not one where I got particularly invested in the plot.

6.3/10
