I thought this was terrible. The female MMA star in this was BRUTAL when it came to acting skills and whoever did the choreography should have been fired because all except the first scene of the film, her fights appeared slow and contrived everytime. There was one nice kick she gave out though inside a hotel room I'll give thumbs up too as well.

I had a good time with this all until the ending which fried my ass.

Based on the Tuskegee Airmen of WWII albeit somewhat loosely, but still a pretty good close depiction of what life was like for African American airmen in service over Italy.

You can tell this is a Lucas production you really can, the dialog is terrible and the cgi effects are very reminiscent of 'Star Wars' effects
The CGI's are the only thing I would give an A for in this film. Everything else from the lame "bang bang dead..........bang bang dead" dogfights with the horrible 6 year old dialog needed to be shot down and burned.

Sweet, I'm going to look into this.

I saw 'The Avengers' yesterday and loved it. There were 2 scenes that had me laughing in stiches and both involved 'The Hulk'. He's right up up there with Spiderman as my favourite Marvel superhero for sure.

Are there any endings that you do like?

That's what i was wondering. Have i watched it in the right order. So after i've now seen Silence of the Lambs, i should see Manhunter next, then Red Dragon, then Hannibal. What that be the 'right' order? Or does it matter...

And Escape I'd agree with Reanimator, you do seem to hate a lot of endings to films. I personally though the ending to Candyman was awesome.

Manhunter and Red Dragon are adaptations of the same novel. Manhunter was made back in the 80's before Silence of the Lambs, but they weren't treating Silence as a sequel to Manhunter when they made it.

In real life, Manhunter was made first, then they forgot about it and made Silence of the Lambs, then the sequel Hannibal, and then the prequel Red Dragon. Chronologically within the story, it goes Manhunter/Red Dragon (Red Dragon being the version with Anthony Hopkins), then Silence of the Lambs, and then Hannibal.

Please do. It is one of the best non-stop action films ever.

Don't forget Hannibal Rising, so that should be watched first of all, as it gives Hannibal's begginings and how he becomes the monster. I was surprised how good it was and will watch again. However I like Red Dragon and Silence the best.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) - Second viewing of this fun pirates adventure. Full of the usual great stunts and Depps sillyness. 7.5/10

Hot Fuzz (2007) - Hadn't planned on seeing this again, but I just happened to tune in as it was starting on TV the other night. Good fun if not laugh out loud funny. 6.5/10

I Saw The Devil (2010) - Be warned, there is a lot of very graphic violence in this excellent Korean revenge tale. However the whole film is so well made and the acting is tremendous. Korean cinema just gets better and better. This is pretty much up there with The Chaser and Oldboy, which also stars one of the 2 leads here. 9/10

I liked Hannibal Rising too. Even though there were some incredibly cheesy parts, it was better than given credit for.

I don't know if Jonny would like Manhunter because of how '80s' it is.

I watched Amelie recently. As I expected from a Jeunet film, I loved the visuals, but to be honest, my interest typically plummets with romance films. Liked it overall. 7/10

Yeah, a couple of very dark parts too, and I loved the whole atmosphere of it, especially the forest scenes. I watched it expecting it to be really bad, so was pleasantly surprised!

I saw Amelie when it came out and liked it. Must revisit it sometime.
