Men in Black 3. This kinda missed the mark a bit with the sense that it was nowhere near as entertaining and non stop fun as the first two films, mainly #2. The more I think about it the more disappointed I am. It was unoriginal despite trying not to be, however it was a fun ride nonetheless, worth even if just to see the bowling alley scene and was almost very good, the film was missing two key ingredients - Rip Torn's character Zed and the talking dog. Tommy Lee Jones is getting on a bit and tbh he was barely in the movie, so why not just have had a Will Smith comeback(first movie on about four years), because this suggests that the writers are struggling to give him things to do. I enjoyed the 3-D, nothing spectacular, but a few worthwhile scenes of it displayed. Oh, and Lady Gaga is not in this movie unless she was a pathetic half second shot of something that looked like her, in fact make her an alien if there is another one of these which I hope their is not, because this franchise is dangerously close to losing steam if they continue. Good enough try(I thought it was very good at first but appearances can be deceiving and when thinking of it now quite forgetful), just not as good as the previous two, especially #2.

Shame. Directed by Steve McQueen (Hunger), 2011. Excellent film, loved it. Great atmosphere, cinematography, style, colors, music, acting performances, storyline... It was all very well put together, IMO. It sorta reminded me of a short story-- a condensed story containing lots of details, but, at the same time holding back. Great film.

La Haine. Directed by Mathieu Kassovitz, 1995. Set in France during youth-riots against the police and government. The youths are rioting because a young male was brutally injured while being questioned by the police. We follow three friends on the streets of Paris-- and we get to see how they react to the goings-on.. A great social drama, but, a bit overrated-- IMO.

Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom (1975) - A heart-warming tale about a group of elite men and women making friends with local country boys and girls. 4/5

^Haha, the most accurate Salò-review I've read in years.
