Yeah, I get that, but I liked his character anyway.

That is one of the clever things about the movie too though is the fact that the 3 main characters, although pursuing each other, never actually meet! In most movies, the pay-off is when the goody meets the baddy!

Ok, but there's no reason why it can't be about those things AND have a better ending?

Does the book end the same way? Anyone?

The Thin Red Line - still amazing and definitely Malick's best film. This deserves nothing less than a full rating.

I enjoyed the ending. So no, I wouldn't want the film any other way. Removing Jones' character removes those elements of the plot.

Yes. It's a very faithful adaptation.

One I'd wanted to see for ages. But is it as dull as Tree Of Life? Or nothing like it?

Its definitely not as slow as The Tree Of Life. It does have a meditative style and is quite moving. Strangely its more emotional than Apocalypse Now and Full Metal Jacket.

Alien 3 (Directors Cut) (1992) - Fantastic sets and great gothic atmosphere make this cut a decent and underrated sequel. I may actually like thi more than Aliens now. The script and performances are good and the tension is well maintained. Extremely poor CGI creature lets it down a little though. Why is it sometimes called the Assembly Cut though ... 8/10

Headhunters (2011) - Excellent Norwegian thriller starts slow but has you on the edge of your seat for the last hour. Really poorly translated subtitles on the version I saw though. 7.5/10

Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989)

This is the second times, i have seen this movie and again not in full, i just could not get into this movie at all,

This as got to be the only movie in the series, that i just can't seem to sit thought at all

I just found the movie really boring, i did not like how they brought Jason back from the dead, i just found that really silly.

The deaths scene in this movie were not that good at all, I found them dull and boring and way over the top and not gory at all,

Some of the deaths scene were off screen (I hated bitch and yet we don't see her die on screen) and i saw way too many goof mistakes in the deaths scene and you might think, was that outtakes they forgot to get rid of?

what i really hated about this movie was that , the whole think about the boy in water, just made the movie messing and it kinda of annoyed me.

The acting was really bad from most of the cast, yes, even bad for a Friday 13th movie, some of the cast were decent.

I have no idea how the movie, i already try sit thought this movie twice and i won't try again,

I did not find Jason scary in this movie at all, to tell you truth ,I found copycat killer Friday 13th part 5 scary then Jason in this movie.

I have not see the ending of this movie, so i don't if there scary scenes later in the movie!

I going to this 3 out of 10
