Wow. The Last Temptation of Christ is perfect to you but one of the top ten greatest films in the history of the art form is shy a point?

I'm surprised you were so impressed by The Last Temptation of Christ. I wasn't even able to watch it all the way to the end.

I loved On The Waterfront!!!! Another one you might want to check out from the same director (Elia Kazan) is East of Eden... I hadn't seen any James Dean movie before and was surprised to find he was actually a very talented actor.

Absolutely, but what it succeeded in doing was conveying stupid humor in a funny way, thus making it a "stupid funny" movie as opposed to a piece of crap like Napoleon Dynamite that attempted to be "stupid funny" but ended up just stupid.

I really liked Home for the Holidays, and Downey is one of my favorite actors... also he's very hot (playing straight or gay)

I finally got to see Heathers (yeah, I know... don't even tell me about it)... I thought it was pretty good actually, a better version of Mean Girls (ok, it's different, but the concept is kinda similar)

That surprises the hell outta me Bullit. I'd for sure have pictured you roll your eyes after I said that lol. You seem to be more into the movies with more depth to them. Didn't figure you go for the more low brow type comedies I at times enjoy hehe.

Myself being a Catholic seems that movie would rub me the wrong way. Its why I avoided it all these years.

I bought that movie maybe a couple months ago. Still haven't watched it yet though.

Wow I wouldn't expect it to be "that kind" of movie! This film was actually at the Tribeca Film Festival and I tried to see it but couldn't find a ticket...have been meaning to see it ever since but just never got around to it. Didn't realize the humor was a little low brow though...a stretch for Matthew Broderick? I always think of him as being so proper...

I saw Napoleon a few weeks ago and posted that it was slightly funny but mostly stupid, but apparently alot of people on this forum liked it. To each his own.

Oh, the thing I remember loving about Dumber is the van they drove with the outside carpeting and floppy ears to look like a dog. Cute

You're right, I probably did rate The Last Temptation Of Christ a little high... I just loved Dafoe's performance.
