Well the thing about Miracle that they did was they tried to make the film more about Herb Brooks and less about the games themselves given that everyone knows how they end. Certainly when the team tied the game at 3 and then Rizzo scored the go ahead goal they focused on the celebration, but this was really a movie about Herb Brooks so I think that's why you saw a little truncation of the games and celebrations.

I see. I dunno. I mean it's not what I would have preferred really. Perhaps they could have blended both element in it together.
I think Kurt Russell played Herb Brooks very well though. That movie was filmed up here actually. I remember a piece in the paper about it. Russell really does love the game as well. I know his kid was a goalie who played here in Vancouver and he'd be watching his games and rooting the team on, just like a real regular hockey dad heheh.

The Manchurian Candidate [Original] - Good movie.

I had seen the remake a few years back and wasnt to impressed by it, like most things the original is always better.

Taxi Driver (1976) - 10/10.

Not only my favourite Scorsese flick, but probably my favourite film out there.

That scene you mentioned is one that made me roll my eyes when I saw it in theatre. Because it was going along fine till about that part. Like nothing out of the ordinary when the movie suddenly takes a turn and goes into fantasy mode. I remember coming from the Cinema and thinking it was kind of a stupid film because of that, but I soon after learned to accept what Tarintino was doing there and it's definitely a favourite of mine now.
I kinda thought wtf with that scene too,but what the heck it was just too good not to enjoy.I mean come on,when do you ever get anyone in movies fighting more than 10 people at the same time,so more than 100 made it 20 times better! Also i am really not sure what genre to fit this movie into. With the second one,it was more action than anything else, but this one i just can't think what genre it fits into best. That whole movie rocked! Uma thurman kicked ass!
