Saw Master and Commander yesterday. It was great movie that really took the time for you to get to know the characters and care about them. Such a wonderfully done film. If it doesn't get nominated this year, there is no cinematic justice.

The only thing though, every time the two ships were exchanging cannon fire, all I could think was Johnny Depp's line in Pirates of the Caribbean, "Quit blowing holes in MY SHIP!!!!"

Watched The Grinch last night. Man! Does that movie crack me up or what?

Going to go see The Haunted Mansion later today, so I'll post the review along with that some time today.

seeing 'Master and Commander' tomorrow. its going to be the last film i see in a while cause i'm saving myself for the 24hour movie marathon. but i just couldnt delay hearing the accent.

Saw Timeline and finally posted my review. The book was oh so much better. The filmmakers boiled it down to the bare essentials and used it to string along a bunch of action scenes.

And why must every evil president of a technology company be made to look EXACTLY LIKE BILL GATES?!!!

Yeah, I read TIMELINE a long time ago & though it wuz far from Crichtons best, this movies looks wildly different. And Crichton is supposed to be a consultant too. Eeeeek! Will go read your weview now, Nate.
