Clash of the titans 7/10

A good movie. Bit outdated with some of the music and acting though. But decent overall

ROB ROY. As Magnificently Brutal as only we English can make these movies! Its too bad America never had people like the heroic Rob & the Bestest of All Epicene English villains, Archie Cunningham (Tim Roth).

Which reminds me that JESSICA LANGE, one of my most favourite Americun actresses, also does magnificently in period film. Wooo, she wuz Hot in this movie! And brave! Brave brave brave.

Yes I'm a he and I feel great shame.

If I see part 2 around I won't hesitate to buy it at a fair price. Disney films though seem to stay relatively high if the movies are new in stores.

Toy Story 3-D is coming soon btw.

So this being October and all, I gave Rosemary's Baby another re-watch after not liking it at all the first time around. I'll admit, I was into it alot more this time and it really can be quite chilling if one were to put him/herself in her place. I had it at about a 5/10 for my first viewing of it a couple years ago but it's moved up to around a 7 now.

One thing I would want changed though is that very last scene.

Spoiler
Out of all the fight that Rosemary put forth, trying to get to the bottom of it all and save her unborn child, once she finds out it's Satan's baby and they are all Satan worshippers, along with her hub knowing all about this and betraying her totally for fame, she seems to just smile at the baby and take on an instinctive motherly roll which suggests that she will now care for this baby no matter what the cost. It just seemed so out of character with her to do this and accept it all so quickly. Unless of course with the shock of it all, especially about her husband, it drove her insane.

To Live and Die in LA

Overall not a bad flick. Two things annoyed me though.

Spoiler

1. The way they failed apprehending the two villains in the locker room at the end there. Looked too amateurish and not something you'd expect from a couple of Secret Service agents.

2. Willem Dafoe at the end hints to us that he knew they were agents all along, yet he allowed himself to get into such a vulnerable position where he 'almost' got arrested there. Seemed rather silly imo.
