What Happened In Vegas - surprisingly enjoyable rom-com with Kutcher and Diaz. 7/10

Yea, it's awesome. Hm, I should re-watch GITS soon-- yes.

I'm shocked to hear you say that. It had a lot of very different ideas and while it wasn't as awesome as i expected i thought it was very good. I'm actually surprised you didn't like it. But, dull? Most of it was chase scenes or action.

Just because a movie has chase scenes or action, doesn't make it interesting in my book. And Pandorum stole from so many other si fi movies that it had absolutely no originality.

The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane The story had potential, but it fails miserably in the execution.

I recently bought this classic 'Film Noir' DVD with 9 movies on it. So far I've seen 3 of them.

The Man Who Cheated Himself (1950)
The Hitchhiker (1953)
Quicksand (1950)

I enjoyed all 3 but my main gripe would be the fact that 'The Man Who Cheated Himself' had some aweful picture and sound quality to it. I heard there is a much better quality of this out there somewhere. And 'The Hitchhiker' had good sound but desert background scenes were blinding white at times. And on the back of the DVD cover, it says these movies were supposed to have been re-mastered. I highly doubt that or if so, then what a poor job they did with it.

Not only sci fi, it's The Descent in deep space I thought it started out quite good, the whole middle part sucked and towards the end it got a bit better, it was a missed chance IMO.

Really? I thought that her character in Adventureland was the same as the character she plays in Twilight

Agreed. Kristen Stewart is always Kristen Stewart-- no difference in Adventureland. I did love Adventureland though, gave me some relationship advice and insight into malekind.

Saw Children of Men. Uniting, inspiring, raw, and beautiful. Saw it in blu-ray and jesus, that film was stunning.
