The Three Faces of Eve well acted and Joanne Woodward was deserving of the Oscar for best actress, but this movie does not stand the test of time. I'm sure it was considered a radical movie about mental illness in 1957, but I thought it was dated and unintentionally funny in many scenes. The doctor was able to summon each of her personalities at will, like a magic act. How ridiculous.

Yes, I've seen it twice, and it's GREAT! ..IMO tho. Great characters, script, landscape-- to name a few things.. Everything is just great.. Again, IMO. If you're into great (damn, I need to stop writing that..) films, then yes, you'll love it. But yea. It's kinda slow paced, but in a good way. Damn, just find out for yourself!

I'll second this Jonny but I don't believe you will appreciate everything about it that myself and Volcom did. I'm not sure it's your type of film to be honest but I'd certainly like you to give it a try. Maybe rent it before purchasing if that's cheaper. It's not a fast pace film by any means.

I just finished watching Dick Tracy. I sure do love that movie, it reminds me of Sin City and Who Framed Roger Rabbit all rolled into one.

Hush, best British film I've seen in a very very long time! Surprised Hollywood hasn't remade it already. Can't believe it only scores 6.2 on imdb. The male lead's acting wasn't that special, but that didn't matter, it was the sheer tension built by the direction, pace and the music.Highly recommended long as you can understand a thick Manchester accent. 8/10

Bulworth (1998) - A little dated now, I'm sure under Clinton it would have been far more current, but it was still an excellent film. Very funny too.

Thats my exact thoughts. It's not released in any other country apart from the UK and even then i would guess that hardly any people have ehard of it. You reminded to rewatch it so thanks!

'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret Of The Ooze'

It may not be as good as the original, but this comic book come to life is still very entertaining (despite the minimal use of turtle weapons) and fun to watch.
The 'evil' mutations work fine, if a little 'power rangers' these days, but the good one-liners and general humour of the film along with a more loose style make up for it even if some of the performances are less than comendable.
The first film was a somewhat darker story with an origin, which was great, but sequels generally like to just 'have fun and get on with it'.
The actress playing April was well suited to that style of film, but IMO the actress in TMNT2 was better suited to the lighter style of the 2nd film.
Now, I may have enjoyed the film, but I do have some complaints, such as the Shredder's return. A rather unimaginative and poorly concieved return that didn't at all seem dramatic and would have been best if he just 'appeared' from a dark, foggy alley all battered and bruised.
Also, the fight in the disco at the end was cringeworthy. Especially the on stage antics with the 'rappers'.
Where is Casey Jones? I missed him in this film, especially since he and April seemed to hook up.
Still, fun and entertaining. 6/10

PS - In the scene where the professor is disposing of the remaining ooze I couldn't help but notice an organic lump in the centre of the console that looked remarkebly like the animated show's 'Krang' character. Interesting.
