Brothers (2009/I) Jim Sheridan who also directed The Boxer and In America. I only know because I just looked it up.

Black Snake Moan This is my second viewing of it and I loved it as much as I did the first time. The cinematography is fantastic as is the soundtrack. The scene where Samuel L. Jackson sings Black Snake Moan gives me goose pimples. Christina Ricci gives layers and depth to a character that could have been one dimensional and stereotypical in the hands of a different actor. 9/10

Doesn't really make sense. You had mixed opinions about it?

I've been wanting to see this for some time and i've always thought Cristina Ricci has a very unique style of acting which i like. This sounds strange and different and i've been thinking of buying it for some time now as it's only £3 on amazon.

Go for it. I personally think it's a good addition to anyone's movie collection.

I just watched A Room With a View. I saw it once, when I was little and crazy about this kind of movies, and I loved it then. And I remembered liking Cecil better than George. And I still do. I think it's because of the acting. Julian Sands is just not a very good actor. There were many scenes with him when I thought "This could have been so good". I liked the movie though, and it was funny! But really mean of Lucy to break up with Cecil like that, she could have been nicer, he was very good to her.

1984, very bleak but I loved it - John Hurt and Rich Burton were great in it.

I haven't read the book so can someone sort of outline the ending to me? Has he been 'cured' to declare his love for Big Brother, because he writes '2+2= ' , we don't know if he writes 4 or 5.
