It's like a lot of those "based on a true story" type flicks. guy really did kill his entire family, but there was no demonic crap there. Just another skitzoid, drugged up waste of space.

I am told that in the Philippines (where my mum came from), dogs howl in a certain way when they sense a ghost.
It's a worldwide thing(unless you meant the way they howl), always heard dogs seem to sense things. Our dog has done something a few times, not howling, but sitting and staring up at thin air like there is someone standing in front of him, and our dog's tone is like when he is waiting to be stroked on the head.

Pelicula I think anyone who has watched Martyrs must be a fan
Quite a few on here didn't think much of it.

what are people's favourite type of horror films?
Psychological Horror for me - Session 9 for example.

It's nothing special but I prefered it to the original film. Ryan Reynolds is rather good in parts.

Yeah, Session 9 is my favorite kind too.

Ryan Reynolds makes every movie sexier.

I enjoyed it for the most part. I loved how Ryan Reynold's acted during his slow decent into madness. One thing that really bothered me was the very last scene. If you ever watch this you'll know what I mean.

Will watch Session 9 if I find it

How can someone not like Martyrs? It's got everything It has gore, violence, yet still such a complex and amazing plot, not just a bunch of people getting killed/tortured!

Has anyone seen any of the Feast trilogy? I find them absolutely great. They are kind of like what would happen in real life. Also really funny, makes you feel bad when you laugh when you shouldn't

There has been some great ones but for me I still think 1982's The Thing is the best and always will be-No CGI and all the effects were handmade , it still looks damn good today.

I've seen the first one and liked it, but I've been told by everyone the sequels go completely downhill, so I've not rushed to see them.
