8 Mile - The title song is inspiring, BUT so sorry Marshall seeing his momma screwing on the sofa doesnt qualify enough in the "hard times" category for me. She threw him out a couple times...well that sucks, but Ive seen more drama on Roseanne.

Off the top of my head...

Remember the Titans - What peer pressure REALLY is.

Worlds fastest Indian - What persistence gives you.

Rudy - What taking on an impossible task gives you as a person. He went on to be a well reknowned motivational speaker.

Malcolm X - Truly a movie that shows how a man can change, and an incredible life.

Endurance - A villager to an Olympian.

There are many others...

King Kong-- recently when I watch it again, I realize that this movie is valuable. We cannot judge something / someone just from the appearance, that's the morale value that I've got.

Philadelphia-- many people still think about how disgusting it is to be homosexual or to have a connection with people like that, but we should not forget that they are human like us, and they never choose to be like that.

A Walk To Remember-- many teenagers tend to follow the trend to get into a society and to be liked, but sometimes we have to be honest to ourselves, what we want to do, what we feel, because that's us. And that's the value to be a human.

"Mister Schmidt" - most movies which talk about finding a purpose to your life are cheesy, but this one isn't because of Payne and Nicholson

Sure, uhm, I got this from allmovie.com..

Directed by Alexander Payne, Sideways follows Miles (Paul Giamatti), who is distressed about his lack of success as a novelist, and Jack (Thomas Haden Church), an equally unsuccessful actor with a rapidly approaching wedding. In a last-ditch effort to sow their wild oats, Jack and Miles take off on a final road trip to California's wine country the week prior to Jack's wedding. Both men have goals for the vacation -- Miles wants to turn Jack on to the art of wine tasting, while Jack is concerned with exploiting his last days as a bachelor -- but when the two men come across two fascinating women (Virginia Madsen and Sandra Oh), the duo is forced to examine their morality, and if maturity isn't such a depressing prospect -- or at least, for one of them.

It's a movie about bigotry and second chances.
