Smile The A-Team

The movie! This was shot in-&-around my home city of Vancouver (British Columbia.) I grew up watching and immensely enjoying the original television series, and I have to say the movie best captured the same spirit. I even enjoy Liam Neeson as Colonel Smith (and Jessica Biel didn't hurt either.) My real pet peeves are the absence of Mr. T and the absence of B.A. Baracus "dialogue delivery." Who else enjoyed the tv series and the movie, and who wasn't impressed with either or both?

I enjoyed both the TV show and movie. The movie was a lot of fun, and stayed fairly faithful to the feel of the original series. The only real problem it had (and I think this turned some viewers off) was that Rampage didn't do that good of a job portraying the personality of BA...or much of any personality, for that matter. He handled the physical aspects of the part perfectly, but really didn't give much of a performance in the non-action scenes.

That's what you get for hiring an MMA fighter to do the job of an actor, I guess.

It was an interesting character arc though, B.A. wanting to change his violent ways.

I thought Rampage was good as BA. Nobody can fill the shoes of Mr T but he done quite well.Really liked this film and my favourite action movie except from Expendables but only just behind.

Yeah, I believe those steel box cars near the end there were just at the Vancouver dock yard to the right of the seabus station though that's just an assumption when I first viewed it in the theatre.

Yes, that's right. I went down to these parts to watch the filming a couple of times. I was pleasantly surprised at how well downtown Vancouver passed for Frankfurt, Germany.

Absolute blast of a film. Definitely worth multiple viewings and a whole lot of fun.
