Yes, it's about a love triangle between characters played by Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansen. I'm not sure if you'd like it though.

That's another one I'm planning to see.
It was really one element missing of 'The Fourth Kind' that the review stated that pissed me off.

Spoiler
It shows no bloody aliens. I mean damn, give me a glimpse of one now and then like what we had with Paranormal Activity. I just don't want to pay big bucks to see a movie where it over and over again, leaves it up to our own opinions to exactly what went on there.

So it sounds like you saw this DarkMaster? What do you rate it out of 10 and did you enjoy it more than Paranormal Activity?

Spoiler
Yes, that is true. It's probably the movie's only shortcoming, but it is definitely a major one. The only thing I can think of that'd even come close to seeing an alien is the up-close view which everyone interpreted as an owl, but nothing other than that. Since you brought it up, I shouldn't recommend it to you if that's going to make you not like it. All through the movie, I was dying to see an alien, but you don't. Like I said though, it still manages to be genuinely disturbing, so to me it was worth seeing. Although you don't actually see the alien, they do use other avenues to scare you, and they do it well in my epinion.

I did see this one, and I'd give it an 8 out of 10. I can't compare it to Paranormal Activity because I haven't seen Paranormal Activity yet. I hope to see Paranormal Activity, but there's just been so many new movies to get released that I'm planning on seeing before that.

I'm planning to see Paranormal Activity when it comes out on 27th November in the uk. It looks very interesting. Darkmaster have you seen Drag Me To Hell yet? And yeah Jennfiers Body is underrated and has a lousy rating on IMDB, but here is the link with some one liner quotes(they are funnier when they play out in the movie) : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1131734/quotes

Another thing i would like to talk about is Megan Fox and Michael Bay argueing. I don't understand that. They are so alike, both ignorant and he is probably the male version of her. He thinks he is so cool cause he makes movies with random plot, random action, putting a girl in it to market her ass and overrated looks. She thinks she is so cool for being attractive, thinks she looks amazing and obviously we know she is full of herself. That article about her and Angelina apparently going for the same role was bullshit, she likely didn't say those nice things about her, she just wants everyone to see her as this amazing attractive person, when she is a back stabbing slut.

I really want to see In My Sleep. It was meant to be released this year, but the release date is now unknown. Hopefully the studio will actually release it to cinemas, unlike Trick R Treat which was pushed back and no firther release date given and look what happened to it, Direct to dvd. It says 5th Februrary for US, so it's probably the same for the UK.

Everyone I've talked to says Paranormal Activity is a disappointing movie. I haven't seen it, so I can't comment, but I haven't heard anyone give it a lot of praise. And no, unfortunately I haven't gotten around to that yet. I've been saving my money for Christmas shopping next month, but I'll still hopefully get it within the next few weeks. I'm sure it is underrated-People these days can't appreciate good movies like A Perfect Getaway, so I'm sure people didn't like this one much. I'll skip on the quotes for now because I'd rather see the movie as to avoid spoilers.

By the way, sorry my replies weren't going through, Jonny. I sent a reply on friday, but evidently it didn't go through. I haven't gotten entirely used to the new system since this site moved. Also, your Inbox folder was full, so I couldn't reply to your other messages.

I thinkit looks stunning, visually too. The locations, tension, acting and generally everything about it look great too. You should really check out Vera Farmiga's acting in Running Scared, an exceptionally great thriller, containing the biggest shock in history, Paul Walker giving a very good performance, but really she steals the show in this, truly great acting skills and she has IMO a very tough scene to film in the movie involving Paedophiles which she handles brillaintly and acts it excellently IMO see this movie. I also loved the fact it wasn't thrown into a 90 minutes or less movie, unlike other short movies it takes time to develop the story and characters. Don't listen to critics about this movie, just have a look on IMDB whose rating is more accurate.

My inbox is now cleared and i sent you another pm mentioning the message you sent me wasn't the correct one. You sent me the same one from last week. It's all explained in the PM. Paranormal Activity is actually getting critical acclaim, so it's not underrated, just check IMDB. It was just probably a coincedence that all the people you spoke to didn't like it. But yeah definelty agree on APG i seriously thought critics would like this underrated thriller. I think you'll like Jennifers' Body. I enjoyed it, only a tad disappointed, nothing major, i just thoguht there would be more gore, that it would more horror-like-comedy and there was one scene cutting between two sets off people that i thought was weird(and of course the movie as a whole was weird given the course of the whole premise of it lol)

Yeah don't get me wrong. That's not the only thing. I also didn't care about how they split the screen there and went about carrying identical scenes with one of the supposed actual video and the other a reenactment. That sounds ridiculous.

I dunno though. If you give it an 8, it could be worthwhile to see. I still think I'll wait for the DVD though.

I ended up seeing 'The Box' yesterday that I spoke about in the 'last movie watched' thread.

I just bought that for blu-ray though I already knew I enjoyed it so wasn't taking a chance there.
