Next movie you're planning to see at the Cinemas or on DVD

What is the next movie you're looking forward to seeing at the theater?

I'm going to see Watchmen either this Tuesday or the next. (It's free popcorn day if you have a membership card at the theater I go to).

I want to see Watchmen, but I just ordered the graphic novel and I want to read that first because I've heard it's better. I'll probably just end up seeing Watchmen on DVD or something.

Good idea Freak. I think you'll get more out of this film if you read the novel first then compare.

Claire, this is quite a long film. 2hrs and 43 minutes to be exact. I saw it last night and it is very unusual I'll admit. I think even for as long as it was, there was an intimate scene involving two characters that just seemed rushed. There was one thing that really really irritated me about it though and came near the end that I won't mention here. My thoughts while leaving the theatre was that I felt it could have been better. However, the more I dwell on certain areas of it, the more I'm beginning to change my mind there. It was quite late when I got back home and many times after I think about a film, I can appreciate it a bit more than when I'm actually sitting there watching it.

As for my next film, it was supposed to be 'Pontypool' but as I said in the other thread, it starts far to early for me to catch it on time and only has one showing. So tomorrow I will check out 'Run To Witch Mountain' starring The Rock at a matinée in the theatre near where I live. There's a matinée special (2 dollars)on for all of next week cause of Spring Break and that's the only film playing there that has me interested and I'll be ashamed of myself if I pass up on that deal.

Nothing that's playing right now really sparks my interest. Maybe I'll stop by the theater to see what's playing next time I'm at the mall.

I think the next one I want to see is Terminator Salvation. But I'm sure I will go to see others before that but they will not be planned.

I'm an idgit. That 'Pontypool' is showing more than just at noon time. The site I usually go to must have a glitch because the actual online site of this particular theatre, is saying it's showing about 5 times per day.

STUPID ESCAPE!!!!

Maybe I'll try to catch them both today. That will be tough though. I'll only have approx 45 minutes in between films after the first one finishes.

If I don't want to wait around for a couple more hours of course.

Yeah,i did think that sounded a bit odd, because newly released movies are always on 4 or 5 times a day, even if they are low budget or independent. When you say you are maybe going to see both are you talking about Watchmen?

No, I've already seen 'Watchmen' on Saturday. I meant 'Pontypool' and the movie I mentioned earlier above 'Race To Witch Mountain' which is only two dollars to see today cause of some special matinée deal they have on during spring break.

And yep heheh. I only noticed there was something wrong cause when I looked again today, I saw that all movies were only showing once at 12 or
1pm. I'm like "WTF?!, That's impossible!!"
