Red Label Movie Title Game
It starts with a paraphrase of the title. Here's an easy example.
Name/Craftsman/Rank/Mythical Bird Answer in the next post would be Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Here's the first one: Country/Monarch (old movie) The person to guess the answer gives the next title puzzle. |
humm that a hard one .. May we ask questions to get clues?
|
I guess so.
|
The French Connection, The Queen
|
That's two movies. Neither title is correct.
|
OK, let's say half of your answer above is correct.
It's a really old movie. As old as me. |
Lawrence of Arabia
|
Nope.
OK, I'll explain a bit more so there's no confusion. The sequence of the clue is important. If I were paraphrasing Lawrence of Arabia, I'd say Name/Country (or if I wanted to be really specific, I'd say Name/Desert Country). If there were a movie called The French Queen, that would do, although that's not the title I had in mind. |
An American in Paris
|
Um, no. That would be Nationality/City.
OK, I'll let you know the first one so we can get it over. Country/Monarch is The African Queen. (1951 - the year I was born.) Here's another, more recent movie: Size/Title/Natural element. |
