A businessman and his adopted son set up shop in a small town, in the hopes of bringing great wealth and prosperity to the town - not to mention himself. He has not great love for the people of the town - or anyone else, for that matter - and hopes to become wealthy enough to eventually retire and get away from it all. However, an unfortunate accident causes great injury to the son, and a man claiming to be a relative arrives on the scene in the hopes of finding work and getting back on his feet...
