Maybe, I'll play and look them up later.

You know, the more I think of it, the more I find that question
really offensive,
JudgeThatMovie9. I mean, when you say
"no one listens to"...I mean, what exactly do you
mean.

Like,
who are you talking about when you mean
"no one"?? A bit of an imperious, pompous bit of judgment on your part, isn't it? Do you mean,
"no one among your peers or your age group"? Is
that it. And by extension, does an older person such as myself qualify as
"no one"? Can you perhaps understand how that's maybe a little bit...oh, I don't know, what's a word...
diminishing??
I'm not taking it
too personally, you understand. It's just that before you say things like that, you should really take a step back and
think about it a little bit. Okay, so
you haven't heard of Blue Oyster Cult. But
hey! I'm not judging
you for that, am I?! I mean, I
am a little surprised, because like I said, they've had several tracks that
surely you must have heard on the radio. (Or maybe you just never knew it was BOC?)
By the same token,
I'm kind of up the creek without a paddle here when it comes to
your band! I don't really know jack-squat about Blink-182, beyond the fact that they were a late-'90s/early-2000's pop/punk outfit that I never personally cared all that much about. (Although, yeah, I
have perhaps heard one or two of their songs on the radio at one time or another...)
I mean, I'll give this a good honest
try, you understand. I'll look them up on Wikipedia and plug in as many titles as I can. But just remember this:
Being young doesn't mean you have a lock on cool, even though young people are consistently being catered to and marketed to by the media as if they truly did. And just because you are, that certainly doesn't mean you can judge anything or anyone older by the standard that's been set for you. (And a key part of that sentence is those last three words:
"set for you...")
Okay, that's it. Rant over.
