Zippy, at least see the third, to me it's the best of the series so far and really enjoyed Hoffman as the villain. I really need to see the first again, saw it ages ago and don't remember liking it too much, but saw some clips a few weeks back and it looked a lot of fun, must check it out again.

^ Can I see the thrid without needing to see the first and/or second? For continuity's sake I mean.

Like I said, each film stands on its own. In the second film, Ethan gets a girlfriend played by Thandie Newton. In the third film, he's engaged to an entirely different girlfriend played by Michelle Monaghan.

I think they are the type of films that would stand alone from what i've heard and seen.

The second was pretty lame so no need to see that regardless lol.

The first though I really loved. The third was quite entertaining as well and I'm so forward to seeing this latest one because it seems they even upped the action from the first and third combined.

Third one is best IMO. PSH as Davian is pure evil.

Really looking forward to this fourth one. Especially the scenes on the Burj Khalifa, Cruise swinging on the outside of the Worlds Tallest Building!

MI4 was superb.

So glad I saw it on the big screen. Can't wait to see it again.

Who else on here has seen it?
