I'm intrigued by this movie. It's got an interesting cast and I like the premise. Something different from the standard vampire flick.

I've been lately an avid fan of the t.v. series 'True Blood' so this Vampire movie is something I doubt I'll miss unless it's gets thrashed in the reviews of course. A very interesting concept though. Instead of the human race turning into Zombies because of an unknown plague or virus which we've seen numerous times, they turn into Vampires and their numbers are dwindling.

According to imdb it's coming out on January 10th in Canada so still a 4 month wait unfortunately.

I agree but imdb has it being released as early as January unfortunately. The reviews so far are good from the folks who've caught it during certain film festivals.

This movie's poster makes it look like Doomsday. They also have similar budgets. And thats a good thing, i loved Doomsday. The action in that film was just superb and the overall tone i really admired and especailly for Neil Marshall to go from horror fame with The Descent to make such a skilled first action film like this is quite excellent.

I agree that Doomsday was pretty cool. An underrated movie IMO. I look forward to whatever Neil Marshall is working on next.
