Yes, to own at home should be outlawed. Apparently this awful shooting has had the opposite effect - in Colorado, gun purchases have soared.

Armed 'moviegoers' would probably have resulted in more deaths, the public accidently shooting people in all the panic, mistaking someone dressed in costume as the gun man and so on.

Dark theatre, loud disorientating noises on screen as well as tear gas, gun fire and other panicked movie goers running about the place.
