Uncut cemetery grass upsets mourners

http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2011/05/30/o...-memorial-day/

Waahhh, peeples are upset becuz they cant find their loved ones' graves in an unmown cemetery! WTF! Why do you visit them only once a year, you lazy bastards? I visit my mum 3-4 times a year and her cemetery is a virtual jungle! (She's buried in Highgate, where I already have a lovely space meself. Yarrrr.)

Highgate's super cool intro to its website.

They should keep the grass cut though, even the little village graveyard where I use to live was cut all the time.

I do however, everytime I visit my Grandma and Grandpa's grave, always tidy it up, whatever grass and weeds the mowers missed and so on.

The groundkeepers should indeed keep the grass cut, but these people piss me off too wid their ridiculous moaning, THIS IS INJUSTICE ... I HAVE NO WORDS FOR THIS .. blah blah blah .. INJUSTICE? Injustice is when an innocent is in prison for 30 years! Weedy graves are a case of simple neglect, and perhaps these people should have checked how the graveyard wuz maintained before burying their loved ones there. Good Grief!

Back in the 1950's (way before my time) there was a grave yard in the city that I live in what was in total neglect. It was from way back (I'm guessing before coffins were readily used) dogs dug up human bones, and no one maintained the cemetery at all (it was suppose to be maintained by family members of the deceased but most moved away and no one did anything about it. It was cleaned up of course. As long as I have lived here it's always been a clean and beautiful place (it doesn't look like a graveyard anymore when it was cleaned up after the neglect all grave stones were removed and replaced with a stone memorial wall with names on it to remember the deceased. It's very park like now, with pretty trees and well maintained grass. It's never overgrown these days.
