A 6 earthquake in Asia doesnt necessarily haf to mean Armageddon, I think. When I wuz in the Philippines years ago, there wuz a 6.2 earthquake followed by a 5+ aftershock, and the only person frightened wuz me. Most everyone just went on doing their stuff. Ooops, I haf to go to bed, I haf work tomorrow. Nighty night.

crazy how many earthquakes there are lately. Makes me worried, off our coast is a big fault line and we're about 80 years over due for a big quake.

Yeah it worries me too. I have heard some people say Vancouver Island could potentially sink in a massive earth quake. I don't know how true it is, but it's worry some none the less. I also don't think many buildings here are earth quake proof.

Actually, the number of earthquake occurances hasn't really increased.
The news media has just jumped onto the latest natural diaster campaign and reporting every little quake they run across.
In a couple months, we'll be getting end-of-the-world wild fires/mud slides/tsunamis/flooding news.

6.9 Earthquake hit China, near Tibet. 400 dead. Hokay, Im getting nervoos about the Earthy Crust. So many big earthquakes these days. Im going to Oxfam office and ask them whut they need.

I hope your kid is hokay. Oxfam says China never (or rarely) asks for help in natural disaster. They might need bulldozers or search experts but they dont ask for food or clothes.
