good luck sunfrog! just stay really low until you get the hang of things. and i wouldn't play huge tournaments cuz those are more of a long term investment and your bankroll is small and can't be sustained waiting for a win like that. to move up from the penny tables and tiny sit-n-gos you're going to need a lot more money to cover the swings. i started with $10 and waited until it built to $120 before i moved up at all, so be patient. best of luck!

I was so nervous I hardly played any hands.

Yeah I noticed that, hehe. Take my advice next time though. You can never let yourself get that shortstacked.. when you're down to like 5-7x bb, you just push all in preflop..

I lost on a good hand tho. I would have won with a 10 or a club. But the river didn't like me.

Things I learned: These people don't go all in on the first couple of hands like the play money people do. They still bet like crazy tho. People bet large amounts on K, 2, or Q, 4. Is that the way I'm supposed to play?

It's hard to get delt two face cards right away. It's even harder to get a pair, For me anyway. Other people get lots of face cards and pairs. I usually get a high card and a low card.

Gonna play one more time cuz three's the charm.

for beginners, u shoudl just play real strong hands.. AK, AA, KK, QQ, JJ, etc.

I died in 8th place! 1 seat away from winning money!
The ante was 75 chips and the blind was 600. That sucked away all my money right away. Morale of the story: have more chips going in to the final table. ;( boohohohohooo ::sunfrog weeps uncontrolably:::
