Sunfrog, do you still play Civ Rev? I beat it on emperor for the first time about a week ago (I was the Japanese my favourite). Last night I tried the hardest mode (which I can't spell), and I was crushed over and over. In my final game I tried to play as Astec, but we turned it off before I got ver far. I'll try again whenever I play next as Astec.

No, I bought it the first day it was released so I've already played the heck out of it. Heh. I'm waiting for Modern Warfare II to come out on the 11th to get a new game. I'm kind of sick of fighting though. I would like a strategy game. Currently, I'm playing Farmville on Facebook. You grow crops and build a little farm and give gifts to friends. It's fun but I need more friends. Here's my farm so far. I am growing, peppers, bell peppers, and daffodils.

I have one sheep and one green cow that was abducted by aliens. That's why it's green. It's eating a bale of hay. The spot in the middle of the field is me and the face at the bottom is my friend Nicole. I;ve only been playing about a week.

What's up niches?
Heh. We need some more writers for the front page. I can't be the only one because I suck at it. Me write pretty someday, but not right now.

I installed the last bit of my computer upgrade last night. I took out the cd and dvd burners I had canibalized from my old computer and replaced them with one do everything sata burner. It burns everything but blu-ray. I didn't want to splurge on blu-ray capabilities that I will never use. I have my ps3 for that; why spend an extra $100 for a feature I'll never use.

Now that the upgrade is complete I am going to put together my old computer and give it to my nephew as a present. We currently share this one. All he needs is something to download songs on and my old computer is still good for that. He likes the iTunes.

In other news, my camera is still at Tanya's house. I haven't been over there lately. I need to get it back today or tomorrow morning because the Dia de los Muertos parade is tomorrow night and I'm going to photograph it. I need at least 10 good pics and I haven't practiced my night photography like I said I would. Do I still need a model release for someone wearing a mask? They aren't recognizable. Hmm...
Ugh, I have to go check out the parade route too and I haven't done that. Well, I guess I should go squash myself in the shower.

I feel happy! Know why? Because I just came from a parade! It was fun and now it's 2 AM. Time for all good souls to hit the hay. It was a Dia de los Muertos parade. I went there to take photos and I screwed up bad. But I did learn lots of stuff. Next year I am going to dress up and participate in the parade. That way I can photograph it from the inside instead of being too far away and losing all the best pics to photographers who have press passes. Grr..

I also screwed up by not practicing my night photography first, and by wasting 45 minutes working my way up to the wrong stage. D'oh! The night was a bust. I'll post some pics tomorrow, or maybe a video. Maybe not. Windows Movie Maker doesn't know what a .mov file is and I don't feel like teaching it. Well, g'night all!~

I had a bust day yesterday too with my photos. I went out for a walk in the neighborhood and I took lots of photos. It was only when I came home I realized they were way too small for texture vault., I had forgotten to change the photo size from blog size to texture vault size. I was frustrated. HOwever I really wanted some more textures so I went for another walk and took some more with the proper photo size.

that is soo cool. i would love to see a parade like that. next year you have to post pictures of yourself. so so sooooooo cool!! its my favorite day ever!!!
