That is aloe vera, the right one, jolly good. The spots are the indicator.
You didn't take the thorns off....hmm, did you open up the leaf first and apply the gel from the inner flesh?  It's been a while since I used aloe myself on a burn (I use it for kitchen burns as well) but I only remember how soothing it is, not stinging. When a burn is fresh the aloe soaks right in and you have to keep applying it to maintain the soothing effect. The skin might turn yellow from that for a while. Sometimes for a burn on a hand or arm I open up a leaf and bandage the aloe flesh directly onto the burn. Looks a bit weird and bulky but it works brilliantly.

Yup, I cut off a little square and peeled one side of it then I rubbed the goo on my face. I just put some more on. It stings a little and feels like it's pulling my skin tighter.
Today I am this colour... and just as sweet and delicious.

It's amazing! I just showed that link to this cat. Today I am off to the library to find a book on meteors. Heh. I like that meteor hunter show. I had a dream last night that my house was empty.  Also I am peeling big time now. I wonder if I should try exfoliating cream. Hmm... Well I'm off. I'll blog from the library. Still dizzy. I feel like David after the Dentist. Waaaaaah~ Is this going to be forever?

Oh! I didn't show the eggs did I? Oops. They are solid wood and they come with a certificate of authenticity. I need to get the 2010 eggs next. Now that he signed the health care thing he will be remembered in history books forever like FDR and the New Deal. Should I get individually boxed eggs like the ones I have or should I get the boxed set of four all in the same box? Which will be more valuable you think?
