Well, Australia is a big place, plenty of room, at the moment. So growing up in the country/bush was an excellent childhood. Plenty of outdoor activities, learned about nature. But we still had a little civilised living. So toilet paper wasn't hard to find.

Although, when I really went bush i.e. no car access, electricity, phone or media entertainment, toilet paper was a luxury that wasn't usually available. I'll won't go into details, only that I used what was available.....

NO. Toads where not a problem in those days.. Now though, the cane toad, as your displayed, is becoming a problem in New South Wales.

Yum, look at the drumsticks on those cane toads! Surely the legs are edible!

It's yummy Sunfrog.. I have only ordered it once in my life though and they were out of fries so they made it with onion rings. That was weird. I have tried Tyler's before and it was yummy.

I know health wise it's very bad for you, like many other types of fast food are.

I was very excited to see a lady bug on our rose today that is being eaten by some unknown pest! I can't wait to see the rose. It wasn't blooming when we moved here last year,. It looks like it is going to be multi colored (red and yellow)!

Down The Garden Path

Here is an update on what is happening in our garden. It's not too interesting right now. In July it should be lovely when all the many lilies start to bloom..

If I was a bee I would eat the big pink one in the second row.
